I created JUGGA SPIN in 2020 to provide an example to people about the power and talent that rest within all of us. I wanted to share my passion and pursuit of empowerment with the rest of the world. 2020 saw the rise of political controversy and racial divide, but the power to be better than we are, is within reach. It is a single decision to be a better person that anyone can make. I encourage everyone to find your passion, (I suggest Juggling, yes I’m bias) whatever that may be, and learn to love yourself, for who you are. If we can do that, then we can learn to love our fellow man. (All of them). I am branding myself and my art, I am standing on the front lines, and yelling that it is okay to want better for everyone. It is okay to see that change is necessary, both within ourselves and our communities. My journey into juggling has been indescribably fulfilling. I have discovered the (me), which I hid from myself. That discovery allows me to see the possibility of better days to come, and the possibility of a better world, brimming with diversity. Please join me in spreading my brand and the message that it carries. Thank you all.
It was by the stroke of luck I was introduced to juggling. In the spring of 2017, I was invited to a trampoline class at the Trapeze School of New York, located in Washington, DC. While there I noticed people juggling and instantly became fascinated. That moment sparked fond childhood memories of when I attended the circus and became fascinated by the flying objects; these objects seemed to almost have a life of their own. I always wanted to acquire the necessary skills needed to juggle, but my eagerness faded away, until I met my first professional juggler, who extended an invitation for me to come to his class. During my first lesson, I quickly discovered that in order to master the skill of juggling I had to unlearn my thought process and accept a new discipline of focus. I learned that juggling is a never ending self-fulfilling journey and the only competition is with myself. After supervised instruction, countless drops and determination, I learned how to juggle.
